Is it spring yet?

sick, sick, and more sick! The Burns Family is ready for spring! We started off last weekend with Camy having a fever of 103 and coughing and feeling horrible. We finally got her better just to trade her being sick with Alex! Alex is never sick! I took her to the Dr this morning to find out she has the FLU! Yuck! I called Marcus while we were still at the doctors and told him to start the lysol war! Im going to do everything I can to not let anyone else in our house get this... I dont think I can handle another sick child.

On Another note I bought batteries for my scale this week... WHAT A SHOCK! I was surprised at the least to see what it showed. My goal is to lose 28 pounds! I've started working out with Clint Howard at Tulsa Fitness Systems. Im going Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays at 6:30 am! This past Wednesday was my first day... THANK GOODNESS I did not work at the salon on Thursday, I was so sore I could barely walk! Marcus thought it was great. I went again on Friday and the workout helped out with some of the soreness and I could walk Saturday so that was awesome! Hopefully I will be ready for a swimsuit by summer! If I can lose the 28 pounds I will be back to my pre-pregnancy weight, how nice would that be?!?!

Back into the swing of things

The kids are back to school today and life has returned to normal, or normal as our family knows it. After playing outside so much over break due to the beautiful weather the kids were extra tired and went to bed early last night!!! Surprisingly they all woke up on time without too much trouble! They all had a great day at school! Camy made a computer!! So cute, she made keys and a screen with a picture on it of her picking up golf balls and playing basketball! Alex was excited about starting her new classes today and not having to go upstairs for some classes and down for others. She is taking art this semester and says they will be working on painting and clay! Cant wait to see what she brings home she is so talented. We ate dinner at Zios on New Years Eve and watching her draw on the tables was so neat, I have never been able to draw so everything she does is amazing to me. Mason says they finished up Operation aware today. From what I understand it taught them how to deal with peer pressure. Blaize had a good day also its hard to get much information out of him about anything. He did bring home is class picture today and he looks thrilled to be there.....
